Biography
Julie Catalano is an award-winning author and journalist whose published books and hundreds of articles cover women's health, travel, business, design, dance, theater, companion animals, and profiles.
Her photographs have accompanied selected published articles on travel, food, and general features in print and online publications.
In a former life, she was commercial model, actor, and ballet dancer, studying ballet in San Antonio, Dallas, New York, and San Francisco. She was a member of three Texas regional ballet companies spanning 25 years, and has appeared in thousands of dance, musical theater, and children's theater productions in San Antonio, Dallas, and on tour.
She cannot sing but does it anyway.
And she loves animals.
